"I have been blessed with the opportunity to attend 4 of Kevin Hill's Painting Workshops, as well as use many of his instructional DVD's.  Kevin is an amazingly gifted artist, but being able to teach painting is an art unto itself.  Kevin teaches with his easygoing, low-anxiety style, yet takes the same thorough care teaching his classes, both in the workshops and his DVD's, that he takes with his own artwork. His DVD's are very well done and easy to follow. Kevin has the ability to demonstrate techniques that look so difficult and show you a method that is so easy for all to understand.  Even with minimal painting experience you can create a true work of art.  I went from being an average painter to someone who now has the ability to make artwork that I am truly proud of. 

The workshops that I have attended have had between 25 and 40 students. I am amazed at how he can give every student instructions that are easy to follow and understand.  After every step he teaches, he will walk around to look at everyone's painting to assist and answer questions if they need help prior to moving forward. 
At the end of the class Kevin will sit with each student and give them one-on-one assistance with their painting if they request it. Everyone leaves extremely excited and pleased with their painting.

 I highly recommend taking one (if not all) of Kevin Hill's classes, whether on DVD or at his workshops.  It is a rare opportunity to learn from one of the best up-and-coming painters in the country.

"I have been watching Kevin’s painting, style and techniques on You Tube
For more than a year. I was excited when I knew that there will be workshop
In Anaheim.  Lucky enough  I have attended the workshop.
 
I have been painting for a long time, but I was lost to which techniques
I should use for my painting style. Kevin instructions led me to the correct path
using his simple and effective techniques which made the painting more joyful.
Kevin has a great instructional ability, mannered and sense of humor  that made
the workshop enjoyable and refreshing.  During the workshop Kevin spend time
monitored each student work and Gave instructions to each student. Kevin showed
us the color mixing and the suburb highlights technique.
 
Kevin has a great set of brushes which are useful in paintings, he showed us all the
brushes and their uses which made my current paintings easier and fun. His set of oil paintings are
outstanding, easy to blend, vibrant and fast drying time.
 
I have enjoyed every minute of the workshop which have lasted three days. At the workshop we
have painted one painting every day. Every painting had different style and different  techniques that Kevin
showed us how to use in step by step. Kevin gave me the enthusiasm to paint more."
